Thursday classes will start on Jan 19th and will finish on Mar 23rd
Groups:
Small groups. Students will be assigned to the groups according to their rating and skill level. If you're not sure which group will be the best for your child, no problem, we will help. During the registration process please provide us information about your child (like how many years of experience, if they play online, what their rating is etc). If necessary, we will schedule an assessment prior to joining a group.
Lessons & Method:
The lessons will take place via ZOOM + an online chess platform. Each participant will receive detailed instructions prior to the start of the lessons and full support from the coach during it.
We teach using our own method created by our Head Coach - Woman International Master Agnieszka Matras-Clement. Each lesson will consist of a learning segment, where the coach will teach someting new, followed by practical application of what has been taught (exercises, practice games etc).
Additional activities:
In addition to the lessons, each student will be able to join our tournaments and matches (free of charge!), where they will be able to practice what they've learnt and compete in a friendly environment.
Cost:
Beginner and Intermediate Groups: $130 + GST ($136.5)
Advanced group: $140 + GST ($147). This group has longer lessons.
Payments via e-transfer to jumpingknightchess@gmail.com or by cheque to Jumping Knight Chess. When sending the e-transfer, please provide the name of a student so we can recognize your payment easily.
